a doodle in a notebook sparked an obsession for designer, Erika Emeruwa, to create a bag that was versatile in design and function- blurring the line between work and play. that design, the ULLY,  became the signature piece of Erika's 2011 capsule collection. This debut collection garnered attention in popular lifestyle blogs and was featured at the famed Henri Bendel NY flagship.

a believer in unspoken practicality & craftsmanship, Erika's vision for EMALLE is to create pieces that are simple yet classically forward. Less is more in materials & design so each piece is produced in limited runs and crafted with only the most supple, durable, leather & fabrics.

Erika lives, designs, makes & consults from her home studio in Bushwick with her partner Ben and Buster the plant. She also co-founded, Finally Ginger cookie company, with her mother Carol.
